That’s the line we’re drawing today, and workplace verification is where it starts.
As of right now, you can verify your workplace on Bondex using your work email. It’s simple, mechanically. But what it represents is the beginning of something the professional world has needed for years: profiles you can actually trust.
The problem is bigger than most people realize.
Your professional profile is built entirely on self-reported claims. You write down where you worked. You list what you did. You describe what you achieved. An employer reads it and hopes you’re telling the truth.
Nobody checks. Nobody can. The entire system, in a $600 billion industry heading towards $1 trillion, runs on trust and keyword searches.
And it’s getting worse fast. AI lets anyone generate a perfect CV in seconds. Fake portfolios, inflated credentials, manufactured testimonials. One in four applications is now suspected to be fake or AI-generated. Companies are reporting losses above $50,000 from fraudulent hires.
When everyone can fake it, verified proof of real work is the only currency that matters.
And it’s not just a problem for employers. Every honest professional who’s ever lost out to someone who knew how to package themselves better feels this. 73% of people admit to exaggerating on their CV. The 27% who don’t have been paying for their integrity.
We’re fixing that.

Each layer builds a profile that employers can trust. Each one makes you more discoverable to the companies that need what you do.
We’re building the source of truth for professional identity. The place where “I worked here” isn’t a claim, it’s a fact. Where your reputation is portable, verifiable, and yours.
What changes for rewards: we’re removing the Boost button.
The Earn tab, Boost button and Streaks are gone as of today.
They helped us build a community of 5 million downloads and proved that people want to be rewarded for participating in a professional network. We learned a lot.
But tapping a button doesn’t help you get hired. And we’re not interested in growing metrics that don’t impact our ability to connect people with jobs and opportunities. Everything else is noise.
So we’re changing how rewards work. Your existing Bond Points are snapshotted as of today. Every point recognized, nothing disappears. They’ll count towards the next rewards cycle, but that’s the last cycle where Boost points factor in.
From here, Bond Points will be earned automatically based on your verified reputation and network participation. The new earning mechanism launches soon. When it does, the more you verify and build, the more you earn. Proof over performance.
We’re holding ourselves to the same standard we’re asking of the professional world. If we believe reputation should be based on what you’ve actually done, not what you claim, then our reward system needs to reflect that.
This is what Bondex is now.
